Oh my god . The student . Smash another student's head . What ? Why ? Because he's going to bite me ? Sh*t . Don't tell there're 'them' . The one with bats give help me to get up . I thank him and he just nod . I just follow him around before we get to a classroom with some other students of this school are also there . No sign of my colleges . Looks like they known each other and i'm the only gaijin here . Sigh . If only i can speak their language properly . As they talk to each other , they look at me several time . Knowing that i can't speak japanese . One of them , look like a smart dude talk to me . In english of course .
"Hai....you're one of the college student from the other country right ? " , he ask as he try to speak english properly .
"Right , i'm one of them . And ...... what the hell happenning here ? " , i ask them calmly . If i show my fear , it will only get worse . Infact , i'm more older than them or i'm not ?
"I don't know...l..looks like in the video game . "
"Are you telling me these thing is a zombie ? " , i point at the dead zombie .
"I hope not but...by smashing their head....", that dude is also confused by the situation but i understand . It's 'them' .
"Yeah , looking at the situation . It's 'them' . "
Now what i'm going to do . Go out and seach for my colleges ? That would be a suicide mission . But my friends . My girl . Damn . Bad timing indeed .
" I'm Ika Tatsuma . " , said that boy to me .
"Ah , i'm Ky . Sorry for not introducing myself first . " , well, that's the effect for being an anti-social dude .
"It's okay . " , smile that boy .
"So what are going to do . Just sit here ? Waiting for help ? "
"Uhm , we can't do nothing about it . Fighting 'them' are pretty much difficult for us ."
"Huh? What ? You guys just want to sit here and wait for help ? Come on , look at the situation . The police aren't helping us nor the JSDF (Japan Self-Defense Force)! They're too probably have the same situation like us ."
"I guess , you're right . " , he nod before he go to talk to his classmate .
Lucky for me . At least one of them can speak english .
"Ika-San , sorry to call by the first name but where your friend got that bat ? You know , its pretty dangerous to escape without any weapon .
"You can use the broom stick inside that cupboard . "
Oh . Sounds good to me . I break the stick in half so that it have a sharper end .
"So , Ky-san , we need a transport to escape . "
"What ? Your school doens't have any buses ? "
"We do have but my school have this field trip to Tokyo so...."
"Don't worry about that , you guys can ride on my college's bus . If only someone can drive it...." , i simply scracth my head .
"We have our sensei here but i doubt she can drive it ."
"Go ask her because i think my bus driver is dead by now . "
The boy go ask his teacher . I don't understand what the hell are they talking about but by their body language i surely can read it . And . Thumbs up is given to me .
"Lets go then before it gets too dark . " , i said to them . There're about 3 student includes the boy . A very little survivor . Avoid fighting with 'them' . We'll be in a big trouble if we're surrounded . I open the door . Little by little . Almost making no sound and walk slowly . Looks like the 'riot' has decrease but the undead are multiplied . We walk our way to the school hall which is the exit door . The normal front door are pack with 'them' . A good choice . I don't think so . Talking about the school hall . That's the place that my colleges gather before go to the next destination .
Well, that's the plan before this thing happens . I open the door and....I was about to puke before i turn around my face . The hall . Looks like a massacare happens . Dead students are lying everywhere . Their inner organ can be seen . Too gore for me . It's not like this is my first time saw the grosteque event . But . I see it LIVE . With my own eyes . I don't know . I just hope my girl and my friends didn't get eaten by 'them' . Like it or not . I have to face this . So . I just walk slowly . Avoid any contact with the dead and the undead . Even though i didn't look at the dead but my eyes just look at the dead . Yeah . And one of them are my colleges and lecturer . I just want to burst out crying but i'm a man . I'll not cry . And so , after a couple of minutes we reach the bus but it was locked . The driver's door are locked . Weird since i can saw my dead bus driver laying beside the bus . I knock the door . Hard . And the sound can be heard clearly and loud enough to take the zombies attention to us . A big mistake . A REALLY big mistake . We will get surround by 'them' .
Fortunately for us . There're peoples inside the bus . The door are unlock and i told the student and the teacher to get in first . I go to check the dead bus driver for the bus key and it is not there . I ran as fast as i could and get into the bus . Yeah . I'm pretty stupid not to check the key at the bus first . It was there . Haha . I'm so stupid . But then someone tag my shoulder .
"Wow , you survive . "
I turn around and i see , it's Dzal .Oh . Thank god . I thought they're dead . I see some seniors too but i don't see Sasha around . Sh*t . Don't tell me . She's a goner . No sh*t . I don't want this to happen . Dzal see my worried face and say ,
"Looking for Sasha ? She's at the back . Looks like....." , before he can get to finished his word , i ran to the back of the bus . She's there . Lying down . She's hurt .
"Heheh , you're alive . Thank god . " , she said to me .
"Don't 'heheh' me....you're hurt . Let me see . ", i remove her hand to see the wounded on her arm . And i just think . Sh*t . Sh*t . Sh*t .
"You.........." , my fear are back to haunt me .
"Just a little scratch......" , she try to lie to me . So , that i would calm down but it won't work against me .
"A little ? You call that a little ? You had been bitten!!!No way . No way . " , looks like i'm about to breakdown . Then Ika came to me . Hearing my conversation with Sasha .
"I'm sorry to tell you but......."
"F*CK NO!I WON'T DITCH HER!F*CK IT! I WON'T DO IT ! " , my sadness combine with madness .
"But i...i...if...if......"
"THERE'S NO BUTS!" , i said loudly . Almost all people in the bus look at us .
"We....w..we...can....s..save her......" , i said with tears came down from my eyes . Confusion , sadness strikes me . Why . Why . Just why is this happening to me . God . Isn't it enough . I fail all but please don't do this to me . God why . I cry . I just don't have any luck . Jinx always be with me .
But then Ika said to me but not about Sasha .
"Ky-san , there're 4 survivors there . Should we help them ? " ,he ask me .
"J...just do..whats right......",i said back as i try to ease of my tears .
"Open up the door!", Ika said to Dzal . I get up . Cletch the stick .
"Lets go save them . " , i said to Ika and his friend/classmates .
"Don't worry . You'll be fine , i won't do what Ika said...." , i said to Sasha before i ran to the front of the bus and get out from it . I stab and kick the zombies near the bus . My goal is just to make way for the 4 new survivors . Ika and his 'gang' smash 'their' head one after another . But . The survivors are in trouble . One down . 3 still left . I run to help them but the zombies just get in my way . I stab . Kick them . But they just keep coming . Now . 2 left . Then Ika said to me .
"Eh? It's our senpai ! Our school kendo champion . Sakura Sawada and her friend , Junichi Wasabe , an otaku . " , I almost fell down when he said that . This almost looks like an anime . Except this is a reality . After a couple of hard minutes . They reach the bus and get inside . Lock the door and Ika said to his sensei . It's time to go . At first , the engine stall several time but after that , she was like a pro . She slam the throttle and just hit the zombies that's get in our way . The survivors and my colleges take their seats before i go to the back of the bus .
Her condition are worsening . I can see blood on the floor and at her mouth . I know . I can't help her anymore . No one can help her . I can only see her dying and becoming one of 'them' . By the time she be the undead . I . I have to do it . But at the present time . I sit beside her . Until her death . Then she breaks the silence .
"Hey Ky . I'll become one of them right ? " ,she ask me . I barely can hear her voice . Now , i'm about to cry again .
"No..y..y..you....will...not......" , i try to hold off my tears
"Come on.....just..say it...it's true right ?"
"Ss..ss..s..stop talking abo...about it.....i..just want to be..w...with you.....u...until....the end....." , after that i just breakdown .
"Aww...you look h..horrible when you're cryin...*cough* crying.....", blood came out from her mouth .
"..." , i just hopelessly crying . Waiting for her death to come .
"I have....one request b..*cough*..before i..go...." , she said . 'before i go ' . One of the word that i don't want to hear .
"W...wh....what is...it...?", i said back .

" You....didn't answer my question back then..*cough*....*cough*..", blood splurt at my shirt . I don't care about that anymore .

"If you have the answer....*COUGH*...." , a big cough by her . She will go in a couple of minutes .
"I....i......l..love....you......." , my cry hard . Well , not that hard .
*COUGH* *blood splurt from her mouth*
"I......i'm....glad...to he....hea...hear..it......" , she smile at me before her eyes are close . Forever . Her breathing resides before stop . I just cry and cry and cry . Thinking my desroyed life . My luck . Ika and other people in the bus are also in the brink of breaking down .
I get up . Wipe away my tears with my shirt . I look at Ika . He just nod . Understanding what will happens next . He talk to Sakura . Then she gave me her kendo stick to me for awhile . I have to do this . I'm responsible for this . I can't nor i won't run away .
5 minutes gone . Then . Sasha dead body began to move like she was revive back . I'm ready . I'm ready to do it . Now the undead Sasha are standing infront of me . Walking to me like she's going to hug me . Flashback of the past came to my mind . I cry again but this time just mildly . I set my mind . That's not her . Shes dead . That's only her body . I clench the kendo stick very hard . I run towards the undead Sasha . . I scream . I scream out loud with my tears runs down .
*Crack* *Blood splat on the floor*
